The Project
OSYRIS stands for Open SYstem for Road Information Support. Its objective is to provide the right infrastructure to ensure a continuous flow of information between the different processes and actors involved in the road life cycle. The OSYRIS is planned as an open, extendable system, built around a hierarchy of components, capable of:

  • collecting the relevant as-built data for better, certified quality on the worksite and easier maintenance
  • managing and providing data to improve execution of the construction and maintenance work
  • giving access to a permanent database for further analyses: quality control, cost analysis, planning of maintenance and recycling
About Osyris (634 KB)
The system development is scheduled until the year 2003 and aims at the new line of operational products for road contractors and road owners.
